Start Archery Week (2024)
Start Archery Week is a unique event that takes place annually, offering individuals across the United Kingdom the opportunity to experience the thrill of archery. Scheduled from 4th to 12th May 2024, this event is designed to introduce the sport of archery to people of all ages and abilities.
Under the guidance of our team of qualified coaches and dedicated volunteers, participants will learn the basics of archery, including safety procedures, proper shooting techniques, and equipment handling. Archery is an inclusive sport, and we pride ourselves on making it accessible to everyone, regardless of age or physical ability.

About Wearmouth Archers
Wearmouth Archers is a community-centric archery club based in Tyne and Wear. Our facilities are located at the Lambton Street Youth & Community Centre for our Indoor Season and the Wearmouth Colliery Welfare Ground for our Outdoor Season. We are dedicated to fostering a welcoming environment where archers of all skill levels, from professionals to casual enthusiasts, can enjoy the sport.

Optional Donation
Participation in Start Archery Week is free of charge. However, we do suggest an optional donation of £2. These donations are used to cover the costs of materials and other expenses associated with running the event. While this donation is completely optional, it is greatly appreciated and helps us continue to offer events like Start Archery Week. Your support is instrumental in our mission to promote archery and make it accessible to everyone.
