Welcome to Wearmouth Archers, the archery club for everyone in Tyne and Wear. Whether you are new to the sport or an experienced archer, you will find a place to learn, practice, and have fun at our two venues: Lambton Street Youth & Community Centre (Indoor Season) and Wearmouth Colliery Welfare Ground (Outdoor Season). We offer beginners courses, coaching, equipment hire, and are represented at competitions for all ages and abilities. Wearmouth Archers is more than just a club. We are a family of passionate archers who share a common love for this ancient and noble sport. We are proud to be affiliated with Archery GB, Durham and Northumberland Archery Association, and the Northern Counties Archery Society. We are also committed to promoting archery as a healthy and inclusive activity for everyone, especially young people. That’s why we have a growing youth group that caters to children and teenagers who want to learn and improve their archery skills. Our qualified coaches and volunteers provide a safe and fun environment for our young archers to develop their confidence, discipline, and teamwork.
